Measure out the following:
- 1 cup of Himalayan Salt
- 1 cup of Epsom Salt
- 1 teaspoon of an essential oil of your choice.
Optional: add dried herbs or flower buds for extra scent. Just be sure to grind with an electric grinder or mortar and pestle before mixing it with your other ingredients.
- Combine salts in a mixing bowl using a fork or whisk. Once combined, slowly add your essential oils and dried herbs, if using. Make sure to blend thoroughly so salts combine with the oil.
- That’s it! Now all you have to do is make sure you store your newly hand-made bath salts into a sealed tight container so they don’t dry out before you’re ready to use.
- Bath time: Fill the tub with water as hot as you can take it. Pour the entire mixture into the tub letting it dissolve completely. Be sure to have a glass of cold water next to the tub and drink often.
